Perfect Day

Lou Reed song, arranged for SSAATB a cappella. Difficulty: hard.

This was commissioned by Dr Liz for her wedding to Andrew in October 2009. She was aware of my existing vocal arrangement for five voices, and asked me to adapt it for the six singers who’d be singing at the wedding. This mainly meant inventing a tenor part and rejigging some of the chords slightly. Later, I rearranged it for her as a piano duet.
